Gert Rappenecker shows a large installation which fills the entire gallery space. Gravel, water lamps and small mist sources form a panorama. The silence of this landscape is interrupted by dialogue scraps of films. "Poor materials together with "found objects" from the entertaining industry and the consumer culture are creating a three dimensional landscape which animates the visitor to wander through and explore. The installation oscillates between Earthroom/Lightning Field Romanticism and the aesthetic of fun-parks, create a link between special-effect-strategies and the feeling of beeing lost in an alienated world.
